Teetering Precariously Atop a House
Believe it or not, I spent this afternoon tearing shingles off my cousin's roof. Me. (Little Miss KLUTZ.) On a roof. With a superbar and roof rake.
Oh honey, BE CAREFUL!
It was all kinds of ironic. After ripping the shingles off the back porch, I discovered there was tin sheeting nailed to the roof. As I was prying it up, I thought to myself: Self, have you had a tetanus shot lately? Then I thought to myself: Self, should you really be up on a roof when you have no medical insurance?
The answer to both questions is "no".
