"Pulling a Mandy"
This is a classic example of "pulling a Mandy". . .
This morning after I got up, I did some stuff around the apartment and then made my bed. Just now, I was going to lay down and do some reading for a class. . .
Book in hand, I literally jumped into bed. BAM! Right on top of a three-hole punch that I didn't realize was under the down comforter.
The comforter was fluffy enough to hide the punch, but not fluffy enough to save me from the indentation of a three-hole punch in my ribs.
Argh. Yet again, I've pulled a Mandy.
