Went down to the Village last night to see a friend's band, Mikanic. It was absolutely fabulous. The piano player that opened for him was totally amazing. I must must must get a copy of his album.

It was a great little place and we all got to hangout for a bit. We were quite the eclectic group: Me the token American, Marsharika from Nicaragua, Mike and Thomas from South Africa, Alberto from the Dominican Republic, Nicole from Venezula, Shirzad from India, Sasaki and Tomo from Japan.
