Sitting on a coffee table amid all the Christmas decor, my mom has a plaque that reads:

If the Wise Men had been Women

If the Wise Men had been Women,
they'd have asked directions,
showed up on time,
helped deliver the baby,
cleaned the stable,
made a casserole,
brought practical gifts,
and there would be
Peace on Earth.

That's Mom. Some things will never change.
