Uphill All the Way
Just when I thought I was free of the gloom. . .
Among other things:
1. I was almost evicted this week
2. My toilet exploded leaving a disaster in my apartment
3. I went to every class completely unprepared, haven't handed in five assignments, and midterms start Friday
5. A project at work that was assigned to six people was reassigned to me
6. The laundry has piled up and I have nearly no clean clothes left
7. I ran out of money today (so the laundry will have to wait until payday next Friday)
and last but not at all least. . .
8. I just left a packed bar - a gathering that I hosted - to connect single people from my two schools, where I found out the only guy that I was interested in out of the 50 there is GAY. So I left. Alone. And walked home, only to be told by a random guy on the street that I am fat.
If ever there were a time to end life, this feels like it would be a good one.
Don't be surprised if I drop out of school, join the Peace Corps, take off to a foreign country, change my name and never return.
